Job Objectives

• Ensure company’s compliance with all regulatory requirements
• Ensure performance management and disciplinary process in accordance with Labour Law
• Build company culture and values and delivering on our Customer Promises

• Oversee recruitment, on boarding, engagement and retention of a high performing team


• Plans, organizes and controls all activities of the HR Department
• Develop, recommend and implement personnel policies and procedures; maintain staff and management handbooks; perform benefits administration, change reporting etc.
• Conduct recruitment effort for managerial vacancies, place advertisements; works with hiring managers to screen and interview candidates
• Sits in disciplinary meetings for managerial and support roles
• Schedule and conduct performance appraisals for support staff (i.e. drafting appraisal points, scheduling timelines, management briefings, receiving final appraisals, compiling key notes etc.)
• Coordinate training and development activities
• Assesse and drive action plan towards employee engagement across departments and manages communication to all staff
• Identify legal requirements and government regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies and procedures are in compliance
• Advice management on appropriate resolution of high-level employee related issues.
• Monitor KPIs relevant to HR department
• Roll out other head office HR initiatives. Support and provide assistance with company projects

Academic qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or any of the Social Sciences

Work experience 

• A minimum of three years’ leadership experience in Human Resources
• Working knowledge of national employment laws and practices
• Prior experience with a multinational organization is a plus
