AUMS Ltd is currently seeking suitably experienced Underground Shotcrete Sprayers for our Geita Gold Mine Contract in Geita.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain equipment according to all AUMS Plant Operation & Maintenance procedures and fault reporting systems.
  • Apply shotcrete at specified thickness, quantity, and application according to procedures and design;
  • Ensure adequate ventilation and supply of mine-air prior to spraying;
  • Fuel up concrete truck and fill chemical tanks as required;
  • Ensure all AUMS safety standards, policies & procedures are adhered to;
  • Ability to train the National (local) workforce.


Skills, Experience & Attributes:

  • Previous experience as a Shotcrete Operator, Sprayer and Agi driver;
  • Experience in Hard Rock Underground Mining;
  • Knowledge of concrete additives and aggregates;
  • Knowledge of shotcrete rig’s performance capabilities;
  • Ability to work autonomously/independently with limited supervision;
  • Demonstrated abilities to work within a team environment;
  • Previous experience working within the mining industry;
  • Commitment to safety.
