Job title: Quality Engineer 
Location: Dar-es-Salaam
Industry: Telecommunication
Reporting To: Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Quality Assurance milestone inspections on new sites and site upgrades in line with site build specifications and regulatory requirements
  • Acceptances of sites from site build contractors (PAC, FAC) / Field supervisors and handover to customers. Nafasi za kazi January 2019
  • Ensure health and safety standards are adhered to at all times
  • Conduct technical site surveys for new and upgrade sites
  • Daily, weekly, monthly reporting on sites QA and milestones status

Academic qualifications Essential 

  • Degree/ Diploma; Electrical Engineering/ Civil Engineering/ project Management
  • Professional Qualifications – Recommended

Work Experience and Skills 

  • Minimum telecommunication experience 3 to 5 years

Job title: Financial Accountant 
Location: Dar-es-Salaam
Industry: Telecommunication
Reporting To: Financial Controller

Key Responsibilities 

  • Update Balance Sheet support schedules, with appropriate documentation, for select prepayment and accrual accounts. Scan support onto Share-point and/or Accounts Payable system for a multitude of supplier invoices, support will include GRV’s, contracts, FAC’s as needed. Provide support in reconciliation of Landlord payments to be made as per the LandLord database, this will include reviewing contracts and potential returned payments.  
  • Ensure that payment tracker in excel is maintained with the appropriate data so that the Shared Service Centre can reconcile the invoice to the ledger.Ajira/Kazi
  • Making sure that the Shared Service Centre are being provided with the correct data and liaising with them at least daily, if not more regularly, to resolve any outstanding queries on postings related to Cash & Bank & Invoices. 
  • Assist the Finance team with the cash flow process by keeping up-to date on what are key payments to be made and what payments have been delayed due to internal process delay Provide assistance to the Financial Controller with regards to Month-end reporting by reviewing GL accounts and entries against accruals.

Academic qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting CPA (T) or Part Qualified Accountant ( Intermediate – Final Level)

Work Experience and Skills

  • At least 2 years’ experience of Accounts Payable experience
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable accounts payable/general ledger systems and procedures
