POSITION: Senior Accountant.

LOCATION: TEGETA AZANIA DAR ES SALAAM.

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: FULL TIME.

EXPERIENCE LEVEL: 10 + YEARS.

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of solid accounting experience, a deep understanding of financial systems, and proven expertise in managing full-cycle accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day to day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and internal accounting standards.
• Conduct budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Manage internal and external audits.
• Develop and implement internal financial controls and processes.
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, ACCRA, or equivalent certification preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years’ progressive experience in accounting, preferably in a senior role ( include minimum 2 years experience in FMCG).
• Advanced knowledge of accounting software (e.g, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead, manage deadlines, and work under pressure.
